We are delighted to announce that EducateCo has been appointed by Sydney developer Celestino to project manage stage 1 of the STEM Centre of Excellence project located at Sydney Science Park (SSP) in Western Sydney.
SSP is a $5bn mixed-use smart city that will create an internationally recognised epicentre for research, development, education, commercialisation and innovation in the heart of Western Sydney. The Park is located just 3 kilometres north of the new Nancy Bird Walton Airport due to open in 2026.
EducateCo managing director Vicki Waters who will lead the project said that the STEM Centre of Excellence will become the showpiece hub of the education and research precinct. “We have some exciting plans that will position the Centre of Excellence as a leader in the development of global STEM education,” said Vicki, adding that some significant announcements in relation to these developments can be expected soon.
Vicki and her team are currently liaising with potential partners from within Australia and overseas to identify opportunities to collaborate with the STEM Centre to produce unrivalled experiences for clients of the Centre. Vicki would love to hear from you if you are a research organisation seeking facilities or support for your research endeavours, or if you are an educational organisation that has something innovative that you would like to develop or offer in the STEM area for student or teacher development.
